MEET WHOISJBEATS
I'm JB. I've been a producer/engineer for about 7 years. I've also been a sound designer at ProducerGrind for 4 years now. We started with midi hihat packs in 2015 and we're still rolling. I ended up becoming a podcast host for producergrindand now I'm more active in the producer community besides recording artists and catering to rappers. I've spent years building relationships with producers and artists in the industry. Now I'm spending time arranging placements and other future opportunities. Doing a beat collaboration with me is a way you can learn from me and potentially be a part of these opportunities. Listen to a few finished collabs below!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What do I do after my payment?
After your payment you should email me your files via we-transfer or Google Drive - to sales@whoisjbeats.com. If you are requesting files from me you should email me from the address I should send the ZIP folder containing the project(s). Give me 1-3 days depending on my work load or if I'm out of town.
How do I prepare my project?
When preparing your files for a collaboration, you should have all sounds separated by wav files (stems). When working with unfinished ideas I prefer the idea in 8 bar or 16 bar form. Not a full composition.
What kind of files do I send?
After your project is exported/bounced into individual wav files into a folder, You must compress this folder before sending it through via the internet.
What is a 1on1 tutorial/consultation session?
Contact me via email or social media before picking this option. With a 1on1 tutorial/consultation I will share my system audio, screen and webcam via the ZOOM application. It will be a face to face meeting where I usually go through the process of mixing a beat. Some beginner producers may use this time to learn how to navigate their DAW. You can ask me any specific question during the booked time.
What is a live collab?
With a live collab I will be sharing my screen and audio while I complete the project so you can see my process. You will also be able to talk and ask questions while we work. You must have the zoom application and a decent internet connection. Email me or call me to schedule the date and time after you've paid for a live collaboration.
How long does it take?
Depending on my workload completing collabs can take between 1 day and 1 week. 
Will I get credit/paid for placements?
Our names will always be paired [Prod. By WHOISJBEATS & PRODUCERNAME] and royalties will ALWAYS be split 50/50 no matter how big the record is. If it is placed by a major artist I will be contacting you to do paperwork
